I just want to mention that in the early 70's or so I went to the Bobby Ball 150 which was in Phoenix. Walthrip was there. Ran out of gas...really. I was in the pits with the McCluskey crew. I mean....how stupid is that????...running out of gas...I mean...it was my first Indy race and I got to see the Unser's push older drivers into the rail...honestly, then Waltrip runs out of gas as if he could drive that thing forever...and he never took a pit stop...and then McCluskey's win was questioned and WHAT A BRAWL....Bobby and Al Unser; Waltrip...whatta whatta whatta???????
